During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your skin tone and texture and discuss your specific skin concerns with you. You’ll then be presented with treatment options designed to meet your individual needs.
During low energy treatments you may feel some slight discomfort but the majority of clients don’t report any significant pain. Afterwards, your skin may feel a little warm and tight, like the feeling of mild sunburn.
For higher energy treatments, your practitioner will discuss pain management options for use both during and following the procedure.
Immediately after treatment your skin may appear pink in colour, this is known as erythema and is perfectly normal. In the following days, the outer layer of treated skin may flake or peel, revealing fresh, healthy skin underneath. Your clinician will advise you on how long these symptoms are likely to last based on your individual treatment plan.
Results will begin to appear immediately following treatment and will continue to develop for up to 12 months.
